A University of Melbourne graduate, Dr Borosak completed combined fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2003. Her substantial appointment is in the role of Transfusion Medicine Specialist at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and she has a keen interest in clinical transfusion practice and transfusion practice improvement. Dr Borosak is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Blood Matters Program, ARCBS/Department of Health, Victoria, and Chair of the Blood Matters Patient Blood Management working group. She is involved in teaching and education for advanced trainees in haematology, medical scientists and nursing staff. Dr Borosak joined Melbourne Pathology as a sessional Haematologist in 2005.
