The laboratory Help Desk Department, located at the Melbourne Pathology head office in Collingwood, is looking for a person with a dedication to quality, a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
The position entails answering telephone enquiries from Melbourne Pathology staff and external sources, management of quality incidents and complaints plus a variety of trouble shooting and customer service tasks. The successful applicant will therefore gain knowledge of all aspects of the pathology business.
The Help Desk is currently open from 0730 – 1800 Monday to Friday and 0800 – 1300 Saturday and may operate on some public holidays.
This full time equivalent position involves working rotating shifts Tuesday to Friday and the Saturday shift.
The position would particularly suit suitably qualified Melbourne Pathology laboratory or SRA staff whose knowledge and experience of the laboratory would be an advantage. Other individuals who have relevant pathology laboratory experience are also encouraged to apply.

This position will contribute to the success of Melbourne Pathology through the management of a General Practice sales area. The incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of the sales strategy within the Business Development Team. This will significantly contribute toward:

- Maximising customer satisfaction
- Delivering a sustainable competitive advantage
- 3 years + related experience
- Relevant tertiary degree in business and/or science (highly desirable)
- Current drivers licence
