With many people considering a return to the workplace, Melbourne Pathology is pleased to offer Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing for organisations seeking to test their employees.
How does it work?
Melbourne Pathology will provide you with a personalised electronic (PDF editable) request form for your employees to use for COVID-19 testing.
We can come to you
Our COVID-19 collection team can visit onsite where there are groups requiring testing.
Alternatively, we can supply the request form and your employees can attend one of our dedicated COVID-19 drive-thru sites (listed below), where the procedure will be completed in their vehicle by one of our trained and professional collectors.
All collectors at these sites and in the mobile COVID collection team wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

These sites require a booking. You can book at email@example.com or call 9287 7700 and select option 4.
Results will be made available to the employer through our online Results program – Sonic Dx Results. You will be given a username and password to check results. Patients who are negative can also receive an SMS with their negative result if they provide a mobile number. All positive results are phoned by our Medical Microbiologists and DHHS is informed.
NATA accredited laboratories
As with all Melbourne Pathology testing, our laboratories are accredited to the highest international standards by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA).
